Digital technology and social media are pushing the personal and business freedom envelope to the limit.
This is standard web fare ever since Napster revolutionized music listening, since chat rooms were born, since data mining began and social media exploded.
The latest installment in the what's-fair-game-on-new-media serial brings us Reed Hastings, the co-founder and CEO of Netflix, a web movie/video streaming company that in 2009 vaulted over the 100.000 titles and 10.000.000 subscribers hurdle, to reach 23,6 million in the USA and 26 million worldwide in 2011.
In July 2012 Mr. Hastings posted three lines on his Facebook page (which has over 200.000 fans) stating that Netflix monthly viewings exceeded 1 billion hours for the first time ever in June 2012.
